Engineering & Maintenance

HOURS OF WORK

Current shift 0730 to 1530 hours Monday to Sunday, including rotation through late start shifts (1230 to 2030 hours) as well as standby (afterhours and weekends) required.  Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the CUPE collective agreement. 

RATE OF PAY

• $24.449 to $25.898 per hour

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold a current Ontario trade certification, an Ontario Plumbing Trade Certificate
• Ability to interpret drawings, applicable codes, etc.
• Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of equipment
• Assist in minor building renovations
• Knowledge of applicable Occupational Health & Safety Act regulations
• Must be able to fulfill physical requirement of the job, as per current Physical Demands Analysis
• Must have strong trouble shooting and client communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Hospital experience an asset
• Previous Plant Operation experience an asset
