Pharmacy Department

The Pharmacy Department at Ross Memorial Hospital is an integral part of the patient care team, supporting the safe and effective use of medications across the hospital.

Our pharmacists and regulated pharmacy technicians work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and promote patient safety.

Pharmacy services include:

• Medication reconciliation for patients on admission and discharge
• Clinical review of medication therapy and identification of drug-related issues
• Medication order verification and support
• Automated dispensing and medication distribution systems
• Preparation of non-sterile and non-hazardous sterile compounded medications
• Medication inventory management and distribution
• Drug information and education for healthcare staff
• After-hours pharmacy support through an on-call pharmacist
