Program Structure

Ross Memorial Hospital participates in the Ontario Lung Screening Program as a spoke site. Through our partnership with Lakeridge Health, RMH is committed to delivering high-quality, coordinated care. This collaboration allows patients to benefit from both local access and specialized expertise.

As a spoke site, RMH provides local access to imaging services, ensuring patients can receive care closer to home. Lakeridge Health, as the hub, supports the program through centralized coordination and follow-up.

What to Expect

Eligible participants will undergo a low dose CT (computed tomography) scan, which is a quick and non-invasive imaging test that uses a small amount of radiation to create detailed images of the lungs.

If any abnormalities are identified, the care team will coordinate appropriate follow-up to ensure timely assessment and management.
