COPD Clinic

The COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Clinic is an outpatient clinic that provides education and treatment plans to patients with COPD. It is the goal of this clinic to assist patients with their quality of life by reducing the symptoms of COPD. Together, you and your health care providers will reduce and control your symptoms. The team is led by a Respirologist and a Registered Respiratory Therapist who will work with you and your family to provide a personalized disease management plan.

The treatment plan will be based on individual needs and will include COPD assessment and patient and or caregiver education on medication management, healthy life style reinforcement, smoking cessation and diagnostic testing.

The COPD Clinic is supported by the Respiratory Therapy Department at Ross Memorial Hospital. The clinic provides focused, outpatient services to patients who have recently been discharged from Hospital, and to patients within the Community.
